De Pottengenezer van de Melkweg

I make each notebook by hand in my workshop in Tuscany, Italy. It has a flexible cover made with high-quality book cloth, a rescued cover from an old book, and blank pages.

The book block is made in Florence. I then give it a spine of screen-printed book cloth, a front cover taken from an old book and a matching back cover made from high-quality paper, all finished with an elastic band.

I started this project to save old science fiction books so that they can be on your bookshelf for years to come. After rebinding the books, I looked for a way to use their beautiful old covers, and that's how these notebooks were born!
